Where does time go? …… It’s another 365 days and a new day for the annual MET GALA. Y’all know the outstanding thing about MET GALA is the themes. In 2018, the theme was “Heavenly Bodies” where Hollywood stars brought out their best fashion religion outfits.
Last year’s Met Gala sparked a lot of controversy in the media space with some Catholic Faithfuls being offended with the theme. For 2019 MET GALA, the theme is Camp: Notes on Fashion – to coincide with an upcoming exhibition at the Met, inspired by photographer Susan Sontag’s 1964 essay, Notes on Camp.
Moving on………….. here’s what some of our favourite style stars wore. We would have loved to do the usual best and worst dressed celeb post.
However, on a second thought, we felt a compilation post where readers get to choose their best and worst dressed celebrities at 2019 Met Gala would be better off.

Billy Porter
Billy Porter reminds me of what Lady Gaga was known for in 2008…… Drama, drama and more drama lol.
His entrance was so dramatic. I bet my left foot this is what Lady Gaga could do back in the day. This entrance is similar to one Lady Gaga did a few years ago where she was embalmed in an artificial egg.
And BTW in case you’re wondering, Billy Porter is the same guy who wore a tuxedo dress at an award show this year. Vogue Magazine actually featured him as the best entrance at 2019 Met Gala.
Alicia Keys
The lady with the voice of a nightingale was an absolute sweetheart in a green Carolina Herrera dress. I loved every bit of this look. What a modest outfit ! The dress had a matching scarf for a bit of sass.
Jared Leto
Jared Leto also had a little share of his own dramatic moment as he showed up on the red carpet with a model of his head in his hands 😂😂😂😂😂 Way to go Jared…… We don’t deserve you lol.
He wore a red Gucci ensemble with diamond encrusted embellishments.
Serena Williams
Award winning tennis champion Serena wowed in a yellow dress and Nike sneakers.
Lady Gaga
She came in her elements of course lol. Like a creature out of a Disney movie is Lady Gaga. She wore a playful fuscia pink ball dress with a huge bow on her head.
French Montana
He came in Ramadan Spirits lol.

The Met Gala, formally called the Costume Institute Gala and also known as the Met Ball, is an annual fundraising gala for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City.
It marks the grand opening of the Costume Institute’s annual fashion exhibit.
