REVIEW OF DROPSHIP CLOTHING
Welcome to February lovely blog readers. I’m dropping it like it’s hot today with a personal review of dropship dresses from one of the blog collaborations I had with an online fashion e-commerce store in January. In as much as this is a sponsored post, expect a totally honest review/feedback.
On the 22nd of January, I got an email from the marketing team of an online e-commerce store in China that sells dresses and lingerie for women of all sizes and offers wholesale packages for retailers.
In the mail, they said that they wanted to collaborate with me on their Bloggers Promote Project. At first, I thought it was one of those numerous broadcast mails that serve as click bait to a site (bloggers will understand this better lol). So, I didn’t want to respond at first.
However, on a second thought, I decided to forge ahead and ask for more details on what they really wanted and how I’d fit into whatever their plans they had. One mail led to another and a deal was struck.
Apparently, they wanted me to do a review of the clothes on my site in exchange for any two dresses of my choice at no additional cost to me. I chose to go ahead with it because it did not involve me spending a dime. Together with the fact that I’m open to collaborate and promote good brands on my site.
I searched through their site and found two dresses I knew would look good on me. But first, I’m not gonna lie, I was a bit skeptical on what the dresses would look like after receiving the package.
All that kept ringing in my head were those funny memes on “what I ordered Vs what I got” lol. You Catch my drift? This was a dropshipping online store so basically, the pictures of clothes in their store are pictures you’ve probably seen somewhere on the internet.
If you know how dropshipping business works, you would understand what I’m saying. Also, I had never heard of this website prior to getting contacted by them and the price of clothes on their website was really cheap. All of these made me really skeptical.
Anyway, here are the dresses I chose and how I was able to choose the right dress size and get it shipped to me in Port-Harcourt, Nigeria within 6 days.

This was the second dress I choose but I’d rather talk about it first because I was literally blown away after wearing it lol. There were two colour options for this dress (navy blue and black).
I opted for navy blue over black because black colour has a natural slimming effect on people. I don’t need my tiny body frame to compress further lol.

The first two pictures below were what I saw on the website while the third was what I recieved.
My first thought was OMG! this was the exact dress I wanted haha. That made me a bit excited. Then down to the quality.
You guys, I was shocked at the quality of this dress. The finishing is top notch and the fabric is very stretchy as seen in the pictures and product description on the website.

I styled my dress with gold heeled sandals, floral gold pearl neck piece and a hand beaded black clutch. Simple and chic.
This dress is perfect as a Valentine’s Day Dinner Outfit, wedding guest outfit or a date night outfit. The cape on this dress gives a dramatic vibe hence the need to keep accessories minimal.
On the website, there is a straight forward size chart for all their dresses. All you have to do is to know your full body measurement accurately so you can use it to ascertain what dress size best suits your body frame.
I chose the right size that’s why I didn’t have any issues. You know the problem of buying clothes online mostly sterns from size issues which may not necessarily be from the company. Instead, most issues relating to size have a lot to do with the buyer.

Royal Blue Keyhole Front Flounce Hem Vintage Dress
This dress is so beautiful, you’ve got to see it in person. Once again, I got exactly what was listed on the dropship dresses website. It fit like a glove. The packaging for both dresses was neat and simple.
This formal dress is slightly stretchy and can be worn to work, church and other formal business events. What I love about this royal blue dress is the black flounce detail. I love how it swings when I walk.
For this shoot, I wore mine with the same gold heeled sandals I wore with the navy blue dress because taking pictures and changing outfit is a tough task lol (this is why personal style blogging is not for me lol😂😂😂. Five minutes into taking photos I started sweating loool. I’m such a drama queen).
Anyway, back to the essence of this post. Another way of styling this formal blue dress is by pairing it with a black embellished court shoe and a medium sized fascinator.
I said “medium” on purpose because anything bigger would take attention away from the flounce hem which is the beauty of this dress.

The good thing about this website is how their clothes are ridiculously cheap. However, the quality of the clothes from what I was sent and from what other bloggers they worked with (reviewed on their individual blogs) is top notch compared to the price. The dresses reviewed in this article are all under 20 dollars. *Your Jaw just dropped right? Lol.

I got my dresses delivered to my place of work in Port-Harcourt, Nigeria within 6 days via DHL. There was a tracking I.D to help monitor the entire delivery process. By the way, DHL was faster than I expected.
