An artist whose locks are just an inch
shorter than she is has revealed how she
has become an Instagram hit with
trichophiles – or hair fetishiss.
Calling herself April Rapunzel, from Wheeling, West Virginia, and posting regularly to her 9,000 followers, she’s been offered ‘thousands of dollars’ to shave off her crowning glory.
April has even been asked for hair from her brush in exchange for hard cash, but as far as she’s concerned, there is no price that could persuade her to part with her locks, which haven’t been properly cut since childhood.
The mother-of-one, whose hair is taller than her 4ft 6in, eight-year-old daughter, Sky, said: ‘I try and be creative and artistic in my photos but that isn’t always the feedback it brings.
“A lot of people have a sexual motivation and I really didn’t realize until I started posting how much of a thing hair fetishes are”
