It’s the time of the year when we look back at popular things in the fashion industry. Each year is defined by different fashion trends and comebacks however the fashion trends that ruled 2019 were Tulle, Mules, Neon, Biker Shorts and Organza. Let’s take a quick look at the spot these trends took in fashion.
1. Mules
Mules were huge this year and will still be a thing in 2020 and years to come. Mules had a little fashion comeback in 2016 but became more of a thing in 2019.
Clear block heel mules made mules more popular and pretty much the most wanted shoe among women in 2019.
I love the versatile nature of mules. You can easily throw them on jeans, skirt, or a dress and it works perfectly.
2. Tulle Fashion Trend
Inspired by ballerina tutu skirt, a lot of fashion designers worked with tulle to create fabulous fashion pieces.
3. Neon Was The Color of The Year
This season’s most talked about color was Neon. 2019 saw Fashionistas rock neon dress to neon bags, neon nails and shoes in the most glam way.
4. Biker Shorts Trend
We talked about biker shorts earlier on this year. In that post we looked at what to wear with biker shorts . The easiest way to pull off a Kylie Jenner look is with biker shorts.
5. Organza Fabric
2019 fashion wasn’t complete without Organza. This thin, plain weave, sheer fabric was a lover among fashion designers. A lot of fashion pieces were made from organza – most especially clothes with balloon and lantern sleeves.
The sleeve of a ton of clothes this year were made of either plain organza or pattern organza.
